On a cold windless night we witnessed the power of South Africa as they overcame a lack luster Australian side 32 points to 25.

Perth Bayswater Joey Carnival

Tremendous day of showers, hail, sun and running rugby.

Two matches back to back saw Uni Green U8 pitted firstly against Palmyra White and then Mandurah.

Once again solid individual running efforts saw the Uni Green team stifle the oppositions winning margin to less than double figures.

Thanks to Aaron, there are glimpses of a back line with slightly more consistency and cohesiveness than sugar-water. Indeed today saw the first complete back line move leading to a try - involving all 7 players and the full width of the pitch....

U8 Uni Green vs Rockingham Purple

On an overcast day, through a misting of rain - the Uni Green team showed glimpses of a back line formation against a well-drilled Rocky outfit.

The Uni team, boasting great individual pace and style, were rocked by the depth and breadth of a slick Rocky back line. Were it not for some great resolute defence by the Uni team the 10 point loss could have been far greater.

Aaron is set enforce a new drill regime to enahnce back line cohesion...

U6 Uni vs Kalamunda Bulls

Another close and thoroughly enjoyable encounter between these two stalwarts of the U6 division saw Uni narrowly edge out the Bulls by one try.
Both sides demonstrated an excellent defensive line, occasional glimpses of teamwork and the expected degree of confusion at the breakdown.
The Uni team is certainly gaining in confidence, and this week managed to run forwards a fraction over 50% of the time - well done lads.

U8 Uni Green vs Palmyra Brown

Another tense day at the office. Aaron back at his old stomping ground
Great improvements in the back line with the development of considerate passing and a structured attack.
Defense is still an issue...
